This action-packed film directed by Robert Rodriguez and Ethan Maniquis, pulled no punches in its gritty depiction of a Mexican ex-Federale who becomes a hitman after being betrayed by his own government.
With Trejo at the helm, the story takes us on a wild ride through the underworld of drug lords, corrupt politicians, and double-crossing femme fatales. From start to finish, Machete is a non-stop thrill ride that will leave you gasping for air.
The plot centers around Machete’s mission to take down a corrupt senator who is using illegal immigrants as his personal slaves while lining his pockets with cartel money.
